Top restaurants in Fort Walton Beach

One aspect that I love about living along the Emerald Coast is the variety of eateries available to satisfy nearly every food craving one can get. However, it can be easy to fall into the same routine of restaurants! That is why I am sharing with you my top favorites in each category. If you haven’t tried one yet, make sure to check it out the next time you dine out.

#1 Pizza Joint: Clemenzas

Do you ever crave pizza? I sure do! When I get that craving, I enjoy hitting up Clemenza’s in Uptown Station. Not only do I have the options of pasta, soup, salad, sandwiches, and their tasty wood-fired pizzas, but I can do my shopping afterward with ease.

Looking for a sandwich, burger, or something simple to enjoy for lunch? I love hitting up Sax Grille for lunchtime. I highly recommend trying their Ham-n-Swiss Panini!

On the move but need something quick and yummy? Tops Hamburgers is my absolute favorite fast food joint around! A bacon cheeseburger and a side of fries are enough to keep me going the rest of the day.

#1 Italian: Ali's Bistro

Pizza, pasta, and fresh seafood are the cornerstones of authentic Italian cuisine, and no place does it better than Ali’s Bistro. I particularly love their chicken parmigiana and full cocktail bar!

#1 French: Bay Café

Chicken Florentine, sauteed scallops, and grouper wellington are just the beginning of what you can get at this French café. I absolutely adore enjoying my meal while looking over the bay.

#1 Asian: Racetrack Cafe

My favorite Asian cuisine would have to be Thai, and there is no better place to go than the Racetrack Café. From fried rice to curry to pad thai, I always leave so full I feel like I might burst.

Location: 250 Racetrack Rd. NW, FWB

#1 Sports Bar: Fokkers

Whether it’s football season or not, I adore Fokker's Pub. Not only do they have a variety of German pub food and loaded-up pizzas, but the staff is always 100% friendly and attentive. Plus, you can bet that I get there early on my team's game day to score a spot in front of one of the many TVs!

#1 Bar: Pallet Bar & Grill

Featuring 24 taps, a full bar, and a fun menu, the Pallet Bar is one of my favorite spots to go for a night on the town. Who wouldn’t love eating bacon-wrapped jalapenos while sipping on a cocktail and listening to live music?

#1 Unexpected Location: Doncha

I am always on the lookout for cuisines I haven't yet tried, which is why I had to go to Doncha. This Peruvian restaurant served authentic local food that danced on the taste buds.
